French theatrical poster for a play in 4 acts by Pierre Frondaie. Pierre Frondaie (born Albert René Fraudet) (25 April 1884 – 25 September 1948) was a French poet, novelist, and playwright. From 1942 until his death, Pierre Frondaie ran the Théâtre de l'Ambigu, in Paris, and focused on directing and producing several of his own plays. At times he was even on stage playing opposite his wife, Maria Favella, the actress. In 1928, Howard Hawks directed "Fazil", based on Frondaie's play L'Insoumise Date of poster unknown, probably 1940s
