1971, Silkscreen poster for the independent documentary short "El Pueblo se Levanta" or "The Young Lords Film". In the midsts of the Civil Rights Movement and the protests against the Vietnam War, the Young Lords emerged to demand decent living conditions and raised a militant voice for the empowerment of Puerto Ricans and other Latin peoples in the United States and for the independence of Puerto Rico. Poster has a small tear in the top and another in the right side.
