Extremely Rare Basque Separatists Poster ETA "Angel Otaegui Etxebarria ( 1942 - 1975 ) was a militant political ETA military during the dictatorship of Franco in Spain . Along with his fellow militant Juan Paredes "Txiki" and militants of FRAP , José Luis Sánchez Bravo , Ramón García Sanz and Humberto Baena , was sentenced to death and executed on September 27 of 1975 by firing squad . These were the last executions of Francoism , shortly before the death of the dictator . Such executions raised a wave of protests and condemnations against the government of Spain within and outside the country, both official and popular levels. Otaegi had the alias of "Caraquemada" and "Azpeiti" in reference to the psoriasis suffering and his hometown." Wikepedia
