Travel poster with a depiction of a girl from Southern Ndebele people, also known in English by their endonym AmaNdebele, a Bantu ethnic group native to Southern Africa who speak Southern Ndebele language (isiNdebele). The Province of Transvaal was a province of South Africa from 1910 until 1994, when a new constitution subdivided it following the end of apartheid. Small print at bottom reads: "Printed in England by The Haycock Press, Ltd, London. Published by order of and at the expense of the Government of the Union of South Africa and issued for free distribution by the South African Tourist Corporation"
