Anti-war poster printed on thick gold colored heavier paper with a work tilted "The City" by Arthur Secunda (November 12, 1927 – August 30, 2022) an American painter, sculptor, and printmaker. Dates from either late 1960s or early 1970s. The Original piece: "The City" was part of a larger collaborative art project and exhibition titled "66 Signs of Neon", an artistic response to the 1965 Watts riots in Los Angeles. It was later repurposed into this anti-war poster with a quote that reads: " 'The security we profess to seek in foreign adventures we will lose in our decaying cities. The bombs in Vietnam explode at home; they destroy the hopes and possibilities for a decent America.' -Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr."
