AN EXHIBITION OF POLITICAL POSTERS

"Almost always, the creative dedicated minority has made the world better." -Martin Luther King, Jr.

In honor of Black History Month we are highlighting several stunning political, government, civil rights, and protest posters featuring important world events, organizations, and people that strove for a better world. Many of these posters offer a sharp criticism of racism and injustice and urge their viewers toward social progress and black liberation. Also included are war and recruitment posters, parody and satire posters, public service announcements, and personality posters that focus on the black experience in the US and abroad.

As a supplement to these posters, you are also invited to search our complete collection for other Black Interest Posters. And, if you are in NYC we invite you to see the exhibit in our gallery window at 145 8th Avenue New York, NY 10011 where we have been for 37 years. We hope you benefit from this show. Please let us know if you would like information on any of the posters you see by emailing: info@chisholm-poster.com or calling us: 212-741-1703. View our past online show.
